Quick Mid-week Getaway
Quick Mid-week Getaway: Antipolo & Intramuros
One of the thrilling things in life is about being spontaneous. Like being in a week full of shit loads and crap then suddenly you just want to shut down, breathe fresh air and.. visit Antipolo. Yay or nay? Yay, right?
Since we've been reading lots of blog on where-tos, even before, we've decided to go kung saan malapit sa city pero feel mo pa din 'yung nature. Less than an hour from Pasay via motorcycle, conquering the rush hour traffic, we have reached Antipolo.
Truth to be told, we're really into nature. It is located along Taktak Rd, Antipolo. Literal. But yeah, we do love it!
Entrance fee/Environmental fee is 30 pesos per head and there's no need to pay for parking because you can just park outside.
We head next to Antipolo Cathedral which was 10-15 minutes away from the falls. Mahirap mag park ng sasakyan so umikot kami para maghanap ng pay parking which costs us 25 pesos.
Want to take a guess? Hmm. Situated at Brgy. Sta. YAAAAY RIGHT???๐
Parking of any kinds of vehicle is free. And all the entrance fee for 360° View Deck, Butuan Caraga Heritage Museum & Hanging Bridge is free when you eat with minimum purchase of 200pesos to their Cloud 9 Restaurant. Ain't it romantic?
After naming kumain at mag picture picture, pumasok muna kami sa Butuan Caraga Heritage Museum. You can take pictures of the antiques but you can't touch them.
Next of course, save the best for last eka nga nila, ang Hanging Bridge. Hahahaha! But the feeling after is so fulfilling kasi you managed to face your fears, right? And the view? Rewarding! Sobrang sulit at ganda๐ When your at the view deck, ingat lang din sa mga woods na inaapakan dahil medyo umaangat 'yung iba. The rest you have to think is enjoy.๐
This is one of the perks of having motorcycle as mode of transportation, ang convinient. I think it's already 5pm nang umalis kami ng Antipolo and when manage to get to Antips by around 6-6:30pm.
We just took photos inside and we had our dinner at P3K Cafรฉ shout-out dito kasi sobrang affordable ng silog meals nila pero ang cozy ng ambiance plus the owner itself is sooo kind. Their rice meals varies from 88 pesos above. They also offer hot & cold coffees, non-caffeine based drinks as well as hot choco. I already posted a review about this cafe on Facebook kasi super sulit and sarap. By any chance na magagawi kayo sa intramuros here's their address: 708 Residencia Victoria unit 1 Magallanes St., corner Victoria St., Intramuros. They also have shop at Sampaloc: Navarra St. corner Laon laan St. Sampaloc Manila.
